Milan Schools Staff Member Placed on Administrative Leave

The matter is under investigation.

(Milan, Ind.) - The Milan Community School Corporation says it recently received allegations of social media misconduct involving one of its staff members. 

The staff member has been placed on administrative leave and a full investigation has been launched. 

"We want to assure our community that we take all allegations of impropriety with the utmost concern.Be assured that the safety and well-being of our students is our absolute highest priority, and we are committed to providing a secure and respectful learning environment for all. We commend our students and parents for reporting this issue to our administration. Parents are encouraged to remind their children to report to a trusted adult situations that make them uncomfortable. Please contact the school office if you have further concerns," reads a social media statement from the school corporation. 

Due to the confidential nature of student and personnel matters, as well as the integrity of the ongoing investigations, the school corporation is unable to provide specific details regarding this issue.
