Longtime Law Enforcement Officer, Minister Passes Away

(Dearborn County, Ind.) - The Dearborn County community is mourning the loss of a longtime public servant. 

David Fogle passed away last Monday at the age of 84. 

Fogle was born in Lawrenceburg in 1942 and was a resident of Dillsboro. He spent years working as a Senior Minister at several local Churches of Christ in Lawrenceburg and North Vernon, in addition to ministering for 25 years to the Dillsboro Church of Christ. 

Fogle also served as a police officer in Morganfield, Kentucky and Aurora, Indiana. He finished his career serving 31 years for the Dearborn County Sheriff's Office
