Local Fast-Pitch Softball Team Takes 1st Place In USSSA World Series Qualifier

(Undated) - One of the fastest growing youth softball clubs in the area took first place in a USSSA World Series qualifier. The 2 Out Storm 12 and under fast-pitch softball team went undefeated in bracket play over Memorial Day weekend to clinch the 2016 Expressway Park Early Bird tournament championship. During bracket play, the Storm outscored their three opponents by a combined score of 25-4. The 2 Out Storm 12-U team includes: Baylee Morris, Courtney Sauntry Schnebelt, Angela King, Riley Kirkwood, Jessi Matthews, Kaisey Heidorn, Kary Selmeyer, Emma Speigle, Skylar Engle, Sophia Martin and Sophia Gittings.
