LMU Offers Home Winterization Help

A home assessment to help you conserve energy will be available for Lawrenceburg residents.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Olin Clawson, Utility Director, announced that Lawrenceburg Municipal Utilities will be helping out the Lawrenceburg residents get ready for winter.

LMU will be assisting those who need help to winterize their homes, which could help you save money on your utility bills.

With the utility bills increasing with the changes in weather, Clawson tells us that when the temperature fluctuates there is almost a one to one relationship between the temperature and utility bill increase.

It is important to remember that these "cold spells" result in utility bill increases that many bill payers are not prepared for.

"We will be offering to come around and help assess their homes and figure out how they can better conserve energy." says Clawson.

LMU will be posting on social media to remind everyone of these changes and how you can get a representative to come assist you with winterization.
