(Versailles, Ind.) – Construction on the Holdsworth Entertainment Pavilion will wrap up this week, and community members won’t have to wait long for the first live music performance.

A bonus night of Music on the Square will take place on Friday, November 4.

Hippie Fingers will perform on the brand new Holdsworth Entertainment Pavilion from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

A groundbreaking was held on July 22 at the pocket park next to Versailles Town Hall.

The Holdsworth Entertainment Pavilion is a product of a successful crowdfunding campaign, which tasked Versailles Main Street with raising $50,000 in order to receive a matching grant from the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority.

The crowdfunding campaign raised over $60,000. The additional funds will allow the purchase of percussive play instruments for the park.

The pavilion, named after Gary and Patsy Holdsworth for their years of dedication to arts in the community, will feature a 20x36 foot elevated pavilion, lighting for the stage area and signage.
