Police in Georgetown, Kentucky say a Lawrenceburg, Indiana woman murdered her ex-husband Tuesday morning.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - A Lawrenceburg woman is facing a manslaughter charge following a deadly stabbing of her ex-husband in Georgetown, Kentucky.
Cassandra Carson is accused of killing Matthew A. Turner at the Mill Townhouse Complex on Iron Loop Path just after midnight Tuesday morning, according to the Georgetown Police Department.
Police who responded found Turner, 36, dead on the sidewalk with a stab wound to his neck.
Neighbors in the apartment complex reported hearing an argument prior to Turner being found dead.
Carson, 36, is in the Scott County, Kentucky Jail charged with First Degree Manslaughter. Police say Carson was in violation of an emergency protective order.
According to court records in Dearborn County, Carson pleaded guilty in June 2018 to Domestic Battery Resulting in Moderate Bodily Injury (class A misdemeanor). A no contact order was issued against her in December.
Turner, who lived at the townhouse complex, was an employee at Toyota Manufacturing Kentucky in Georgetown.
