Lawrenceburg Police Officer Honored at Retirement Party

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Rodney Markland has invested over two decades of his life to serving the people of Lawrenceburg. 

He was honored and celebrated on Friday as he retires from the Lawrenceburg Police Department. 

Markland started as a reserve officer with LPD in 2001. In 2003, he was hired full-time. In total, Markland spent 22 years serving as a Lawrenceburg Police officer. 

Congratulations to Rodney on his retirement.
