Lawrenceburg Community Picnic Happens April 19

The free event will be held at Lawrenceburg Civic Park.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Lawrenceburg's annual Community Picnic is set for Saturday, April 19. 

The free event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.at Civic Park. 

Opening Ceremony with Mayor Kelly Mollaun will start at noon, followed by PG Gentrup and the S.E. Indiana Honor Guard with Vietnam Veterans Chapter 71 sharing a military salute. Logan Gilb will perform the National Anthem. 

Grill stations and food service lines hosted by City of Lawrenceburg Police, Fire and staff will run from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Other festivities include carnival rides, cornhole free play, live music from Stoned Blue, Lawrenceburg Legacy Award presentation, and giveaways.

  • 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. - Enjoy your favorite grilled items, mac & cheese, chips and cookies
  • 11:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Carnival rides
  • 11:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Cornhole (free play, no tournament)
  • 12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Performance by Stoned Blue
  • 1:00 p.m. - Lawrenceburg Legacy Award presentation and Giveaway #1
  • 2:00 p.m. - Giveaway #2
  • 2:30 p.m. - Food line begins shutting down
  • 3:00 p.m. - Thank you from the Mayor, Giveaway #3 and Grand Prize Giveaway

(*Must be present to win raffle prizes and must be a Lawrenceburg resident to win the grand prize.)
