Lauren Hill Would Have Turned 30 Today

In honor of her birthday, please consider donating to Lauren's Fight for Cure.

(Greendale, Ind.) - Lauren Hill would have turned 30 years old today.

The Greendale native was a senior in high school when she was diagnosed with an inoperable and terminal brain tumor called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).

Determined to let nothing stop her from playing her senior season of basketball she continued to play through radiation and trial chemo and went on to draw the admiration of people all over the U.S. while she accomplished her dream of playing college basketball.

Ten years after her passing, her legacy continues on through fundraising for cancer research and to help families affected by DIPG.

In honor of her 30th birthday, Lauren's Fight for Cure is asking community members to make a donation. All donations go directly towards pediatric brain cancer research and family support.

Donations can be made by visiting Brain Cancer Awareness | Lauren's Fight for Cure
