(Carroll County, Ky.) – A resurfacing project is scheduled to start Friday in Carroll County.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 6 announced today that work will take place on KY 55 from KY 549 to U.S. 42.
The resurfacing project is expected to be completed by Friday, May 26.
KY 55 will be reduced to one lane while crews work during daytime hours. Flaggers will be on both sides of the mobile paving operation – following the paving crew on the 4.68 mile project.
Motorists are advised to drive slowly near the work zone to keep crews safe.
Milling will take place Friday, followed by resurfacing of rumble stripes and striping.
The project is aimed to improve safety for motorists on KY 55.
