(Madison, Ind.) - One person was arrested following a police pursuit through Indiana and Kentucky.
On Friday, June 23, Kentucky State Police Post 5 in Campbellsburg received a call from the Madison Police Department requesting assistance with an active vehicle pursuit.
The subject, James Ingram, of Bedford, Indiana, was allegedly fleeing from a Domestic Violence and Kidnapping investigation in Indiana. Ingram was observed entering Kentucky at a high rate of speed via the Milton/Madison bridge.
During the pursuit, a tire deflation device was successfully deployed in an attempt to end the chase. The vehicle continued to flee traveling along U.S. 421.
After traveling approximately three miles, the subject stopped the vehicle and continued to flee on foot. He was apprehended a short time later.
Ingram is charged with Fleeing or Evading Police 1st (Motor Vehicle), Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Resisting Arrest and other charges in Kentucky.
