No Injuries in Versailles Fire

The fire took place early Thursday morning.

(Versailles, Ind.) - Firefighters received an early wakeup call on Thursday morning. 

Versailles Firefighters were dispatched to a residential fire on Tanglewood Road around 1:30 a.m. 

Upon arrival, firefighters encountered visible fire and smoke. 

All occupants were able to exit the residence without injury. A cause of the fire is unknown at this time. 

Departments on scene: Versailles Fire Rescue, Osgood VFD, New Marion VFD, Ripley County EMS, Duke Energy, Southeastern Indiana Gas and the Ripley County Sheriff's Office.
