Kentucky State Police Investigating Death at Carroll Co. Detention Center

A male inmate was found unconscious on Tuesday evening.

(Carroll County, Ky.) – An investigation is underway following a death of an inmate at the Carroll County Detention Center.

Kentucky State Police responded to the detention center on Tuesday around 7:42 p.m. in reference to an unconscious male inmate.

The inmate, who was identified as Daniel Hoskins, was transported by Carroll County EMS to Memorial Hospital.

It was there that he was pronounced deceased.

An autopsy was scheduled for the morning after his death. The results are pending.
