Kentucky Headhunters to Headline Saturday's Whiskey City Summer Fest

The free event takes place at Civic Park in Lawrenceburg.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The City of Lawrenceburg will host their annual Whiskey City Summer Fest on Saturday, August 16. 

The Kentucky Headhunters will headline the event on the Civic Park stage. Other musical acts include Pure Grain, Nathan Jenkins Music, Falls City Boys and Josh Wells. Music starts at 2:00 p.m.

New this year is free rides for kids starting at 11:00 a.m. The event also features a beer garden and food trucks. 

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. No coolers or pets allowed and no outside alcohol is permitted within the DORA district.

The event will require the following roads and parking lot to be closed Friday, August 15 at 5 p.m. until midnight Saturday, August 16

  • E. High St. between Walnut St. to the alley between Short St. & Elm St.
  • Short St. between New St. to William St.
  • Mural parking lot on High St. next to Strong’s Pizza.

Directions to Ivy Tech parking garage entrances:

  • High St. to Walnut St.
  • US 50 to Walnut St.
  • US 50 to Walnut St., left on Center St. right on Elm St.
  • US 50 to Arch St., right at Center St. left on Elm St.
  • US 50 to Hollywood Blvd. which turns into Center St. left on Elm St.
