Ivy Tech to Host 10th Annual Monster Mash Dash 5K to Support Students

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Ivy Tech Community College Lawrenceburg will host its 10th Annual Monster Mash Dash 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, October 25, at 8:30 a.m. along the scenic Ohio River levee.

This family-friendly event invites community members of all ages to don their costumes and dash for a cause. Participants will enjoy a festive morning filled with prizes, community spirit, and Halloween cheer—all while supporting Ivy Tech’s Ivy Cares student support program, which provides essential resources to students at the Lawrenceburg and Batesville campuses.

Event Details:

  • Location: Ivy Tech Riverfront Campus, 50 Walnut Street, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025
  • Time: 8:30 AM start
  • Costumes encouraged
  • Door prizes galore
  • Cost: $15 for Ivy Tech students, $25 for all other participants ($20 before Oct. 1)
  • Proceeds benefit Ivy Cares student support initiatives

“This event is more than just a run—it’s a celebration of community, creativity, and care,” said Loretta Day, event organizer. “Whether you’re racing for a personal best or strolling in a spooky costume, every step helps our students thrive.”
