(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Ivy Tech Community College has partnered with a local restaurant in Lawrenceburg to provide students with free meals on select dates throughout the spring semester.
Beebs & Bubs Ameri-Cafe will provide the meals at the Ivy Tech Lawrenceburg campus. The initiative, called “Meals on the Go,” was formed after a survey indicated reliable access to nutritious food was among the top requests by students.
“We want to ensure our students have access to fulfilling meals so that they can concentrate on reaching their educational and career goals,” said Shakira Grubbs, Ivy Tech Lawrenceburg Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Services and Student Success. “We are extremely grateful to Beebs & Bubs for partnering with the College to provide these meals and help our students on their way to academic success.”
