Ivy Tech Lawrenceburg, Batesville To Offer High School Spring Break Scholarship

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Ivy Tech Community College Lawrenceburg and Batesville will offer a high school spring break IVYT 111 (Student Success) scholarship for current high school students. Students can earn this one credit-hour course requirement in just four days. 

Monday, March 23 - Thursday, March 26

- 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM | Lawrenceburg Riverfront Campus

- 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM | Batesville Location

IVYT 111 (Student Success) is a one credit-hour program requirement for students who are interested in any of the following: 

  • Attending Ivy Tech as a degree-seeking student after high school graduation
  • Interested in earning a technical certificate or associate degree while in high school
  • Interested in experiencing a college course and college culture

This course provides students with an overview of skills and strategies focused around personal strengths, study techniques, time management, and life skills to be a successful student. Throughout the four days, there will be embedded enrichment activities geared towards understanding mental health, student leadership, financial literacy, and professionalism with an emphasis on interviewing and resume skills.

The IVYT 111 (Student Success) scholarship covers the full tuition, textbook, and any associated fees associated with the course. Lunch is provided each day for the students enrolled in the course. There are no prerequisites needed to enroll into the course. Essentially, this scholarship opportunity allows students to earn college credit at no cost for the student or family. Students must provide their own transportation for the course.
