UPDATE: Intermittent Lane Closures Scheduled On Front, West High Streets

The lane closures will take place two days this month during concrete delivery and installation work at the Whiskey City Apartment complex.

Update published Thursday, March 11:

Due to weather, concrete pour scheduled for tomorrow March 12th at 3:00 AM has been rescheduled for Saturday March 13th at the same time. 

Intermittent lane closures will be in place at Front Street & West High St leading to site. The Front Street tunnel to West High Street will be closed to through traffic. 

Flaggers will be on site for safe traffic controls. 

Use alternate routes and caution while traveling in this area. All construction is weather dependent.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Continued construction of the Whiskey City Apartments will require intermittent lane closures near the construction site.

The City of Lawrenceburg announced Wednesday that intermittent lane closures will be in place at Front Street and West High Street on Friday, March 12 and Friday, March 19 between 3:00 a.m. and dusk.

The lane closures will allow the Flaherty & Collins construction team to complete an early morning concrete delivery and installation work.

During the work, the Front Street tunnel to West High Street will be closed to traffic. Flaggers will be on site for safe traffic controls.

The City of Lawrenceburg added that there may be noise impacts during concrete delivery and installation work. Nearby residents can expect these special circumstances about four times throughout the construction cycle.

The Whiskey City Apartment complex is expected to be completed in August of 2022.
