News release from the Indiana Department of Transportation
(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The Indiana Department of Transportation is advising motorists there will be lane restrictions on US 50 at Doughty Road in Dearborn County.
Beginning Wednesday, April 18, construction crews will restrict travel lanes on US 50, from Doughty Road to the bridge over Tanners Creek for roadway improvements. Motorists will encounter lane shifts in the work zone area. Two travel lanes for both east and westbound traffic will remain open during the day to minimize delays, although evening lane closures are possible. Project completion is scheduled for September 7, 2012.
INDOT encourages motorists to slow down and pay special attention while traveling in work zones throughout Indiana. For the latest news and information about INDOT, please visit www.in.gov/indot and www.trafficwise.in.gov.
