(Petersburg, Ky.) – A Harrison woman was badly injured in a motorcycle accident in northern Kentucky.

Boone County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the single vehicle accident on the 6200 block of Petersburg Road on Saturday around 1:44 p.m.

Deputies say Angela McDaniel, 41, was westbound on Petersburg Road and approaching a 90-degree curve when her motorcycle laid down and on the left side of the roadway.

McDaniel was thrown from the motorcycle before striking a guardrail.

She was transported to UC Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
