Harrison City Councilman Passes Away

(Harrison, Oh.) - The City of Harrison is mourning the passing of Councilman Ray Acra. 

Acra passed away on May 15 at the age of 66. 

He was a lifelong resident of Harrison and dedicated public servant. 

Councilman Acra's commitment to Harrison spanned decades, marked by his service on City Council, the Charter Review Committee, and the Civil Service Commission. 

He also worked in the Hamilton County Auditor and Recorder's Office, and was the former owner of The Whitewater River Trading Post. 

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 20 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Brater Winter Funeral Home. 

Donations can be made in Acra's memory to the Harrison Fire Department.
