(Greendale, Ind.) – Greendale residents are being given the opportunity to tell city leaders what they want in a new public swimming pool.
The Greendale Pool attracts dozens of neighborhood families on hot summer days. But, the pool is 62-years-old and aging fast.
Architect and engineering firm Branstetter Carroll has been hired to conduct a feasibility study for a new swimming pool. The firm will detail plans at Greendale City Council’s next meeting Wednesday, April 11 at 6:00 p.m. at Greendale City Hall. Residents are urged to attend.
Greendale City Councilman Bob Bischoff told Eagle 99.3 that he does not support a tax increase to fund a new pool. The city may seek grants to fund the pool, he said.
