UPDATE: Missing NKY Veteran Found Safely

Less than two hours after a Green Alert was issued, the Walton man was found.

According to the Boone County Sheriff's Office, Joshua McKinley has been located safe and sound in Cincinnati.

(Boone County, Ky.) - A Green Alert has been issued for a military veteran that could be at risk.

The Boone County Sheriff’s Office says Joshua McKinley, 30, left his Walton home early Monday morning and hasn’t been heard from since.

Deputies say McKinley has exhibited mental distress in the recent past and reportedly suffers from PTSD and depression.

McKinley is said to be driving a red Dodge 1500 pickup with a four-door cab and a hard cover over the bed. The truck has Kentucky temporary registration tags on it.

He is believed to have been in Hamilton County, Ohio this afternoon.

Anyone who sees McKinley or his truck is asked to call 911 immediately.
