(Aurora, Ind.) - Get to Know Your Neighbor on Wednesday, September 16 in downtown Aurora.
The free event takes place from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Main Street between Second and Third streets.
Get to Know Your Neighbor is a community-building event that focuses on community, neighborhood, home, family safety, and promoting first responder community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
There will be various safety demonstrations, educational resources, drug and alcohol awareness, visits from first responder personnel, kids activities, music, food, prizes and a dunk tank with city officials.
Get to Know Your Neighbor is sponsored by Main Street Aurora and funded again by CASA (Citizens Against Substance Abuse) grant funding through Dearborn County Drug Court and City of Aurora Opioid Fund.
