The 40-day closure will last until June 29 - if the weather cooperates with the work schedule.
(Dearborn County, Ind.) – The closure of Georgetown Road in Dearborn County will begin on Monday, May 21.
Dearborn County Engineer Todd Listerman said May 1 that the road must be closed so that a $245,000 project to install a new 80-foot-long, 9-foot-wide pipe can be installed at the bottom of the hill on Georgetown Road just east of State Road 1.
The closure is expected to last until about Friday, June 29, weather permitting.
The Dearborn County Highway Department will post detour signs.
