(Metamora, Ind.) - Two separate fundraisers have been launched to help Metamora businesses that have been impacted by flooding.

Rrecent flooding damaged Connie’s Cabin, along with the owner's home and cottage, leaving all three properties with water damage.

GoFundMe will help cover flood-related expenses, remediation and restoration of the three properties, with excess proceeds designated to help other Metamora residents affected by the flooding.

The fundraising goal is $50,000.

Metamora’s Moon Lit Pages bookstore sustained extensive flood damage as well, destroying flooring, bookshelves and inventory shortly after the space had been remodeled.

GoFundMe will help cover cleanup and mold treatment, replace damaged flooring, shelves and books, and repair the store for reopening.

The fundraising goal is $7,000.
