Free Breakfasts, Lunches, Dinners For Kids On Summer Break

The U.S. Department of Agriculture and local schools are putting on the Summer Food Service Program. Find a list of dates, times and locations here.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Many students across southeastern Indiana will struggle with hunger during the summer break.

But the Summer Food Service Program by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and local school districts looks to solve that problem. This summer, schools offer children free lunches in Lawrenceburg, Aurora, Florence, Brookville, Vevay, and other communities.

To ensure all children receive proper nutrition throughout the year, SFSP reimburses organizations that prepare and serve meals to eligible children during the summer and school vacation periods.
