Franklin County Community Foundation Names Lilly Scholarship Winner

The recipient receives a full-tuition scholarship to the Indiana college or university of their choosing.

(Franklin County, Ind.) – The Franklin County Community Foundation has announced the recipient of the 2025 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship.

Franklin County High School senior Thatcher “Cole” Kelley is the winner of the prestigious, full-tuition scholarship.

Lilly Scholars are known for their community involvement, academic achievement, character, and leadership.

Kelley will receive full-tuition, required fees, and a special allocation of up to $900 per year for required books and equipment for four years at the Indiana college or university of his choice.

The top two scholarship finalists will receive $3,000 in FCCF scholarships. These finalists are Loria Allen and Ayla Lienesch from Franklin County High School.

“Our pool of Franklin County Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship applicants was impressive. We are proud to have such a great group of students representing our community”, said Shelly Lunsford, Executive Director of the Franklin County Community Foundation.
