Franklin Co. Republicans Tap Raible For Clerk Of Courts

By Mike Perleberg Franklin County Courthouse. (Franklin County, Ind.) - There's a new clerk of courts in Franklin County. Republican precinct committee persons in the county caucused this past Saturday and voted to make Neysa Raible the new county clerk, the Brookville Democrat-American newspaper reports. Raible has been working for the past eight years as the secretary of the Franklin County Probation Department. She was seeking the clerk appointment against fellow Republican and former clerk Rebecca Oglesby. Oglesby is currently serving on Franklin County Council. Raible replaces former clerk Karla Bauman. Earlier this month, Bauman left the office to fill the previously vacant position of Franklin County Auditor. Raible will serve the remaining two years of the term Bauman was elected to in 2014.
