Franklin Co. Announces Early Voting Times, Locations

(Franklin County, Ind.) – The Franklin County Clerk’s Office has released early voting information.

Tuesday, October 8 is the first day that a voter may cast an early General Election ballot before the absentee voter board in the Franklin County Courthouse.

Early voting hours are as follows:

  • October 8-11 from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • October 15-18 from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • October 21-25 from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • October 28-November 1 from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Voting hours will be extended until 6:30 PM on Tuesday, October 29 and Thursday, October 31

Special Saturday hours will take place on October 26 and November 2 from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the following locations:

  • Clerk’s Office, 459 Main Street
  • Ignite Church, 1170 State Road 229, Batesville
  • New Trenton VFD, 5138 Depot Road, New Trenton

The final day to vote early before the absentee voter board in the Clerk’s Office is Monday, November 4 ending at noon. Voters who wish to vote by mail or have the traveling board come to their house, may contact the Clerk’s Office for an Absentee Ballot Application.

On Election Day (November 5), registered Franklin County voters may vote at any of the following locations between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

  • Brookville American Legion, 1290 Fairfield Avenue, Brookville
  • Ignite Church, 1170 State Road 229, Batesville
  • Metamora Church of God, 20146 US Highway 52, Metamora
  • New Trenton VFD, 5138 Depot Road, New Trenton
  • Springfield Community Church, 3101 Oxford Pike, Bath

The deadline to register to vote in Indiana is October 7.
