Former Teacher Accused Of Relations With Student

(Florence, Ky.) - A former school teacher in Florence is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a 14-year-old female student. Kendra Caldwell, 27, of Cincinnati, was arrested Sunday on charges of Sexual Abuse 1st degree and Prohibited Use of an Electronic Communication System to Procure a Minor. Florence Police say the student-teacher relationship began when the student was 13-years-old attending R.A. Jones Middle School. The student is now attending high school, but the relationship was ongoing, police said. Caldwell is held in the Boone County Detention Center.
