Florence Robbery Suspect Arrested Just Days After The Crime

(Florence, Ky.) – The man accused of robbing a Florence business has been taken into custody.

A man armed with a knife robbed the Galaxy Vapors store on Burlington Pike on Sunday afternoon. The man made off with cash from the register and store merchandise.

Police identified the robber as Shawn Warfield, 32, of Burlington.

He was arrested on Monday evening and charged with Robbery 1st degree.

The Boone County Sheriff’s Office says the timely arrest is a very good example of two law enforcement agencies working in concert to identify, locate and lock up a dangerous felon.
