Ohio and Switzerland county residents are up next.

(Ohio/Switzerland Counties, Ind.) – Ohio and Switzerland county residents can drop off their hazardous household waste this Saturday.
Southeastern Indiana Recycling District will be at the Switzerland County Recycling Center from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. and then the Ohio County Recycling Center from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Examples of household hazardous waste include leftover cleaning supplies, pesticides, fertilizers, herbicides, acids and bases such as drain cleaner and cleaning chemicals, oxidizer such as pool chemicals or hydrogen peroxide; flammable liquids such as gasoline and fuel additives, petroleum products, oil based paints, thinners and stains; items containing mercury, such as fluorescent bulbs and thermostats and early thermometers.
Containers must be labeled. No latex paint accepted.
