Eating, Drinking, Smoking Returns While Playing Slots At Indiana Casinos

This comes after an executive order from Gov. Holcomb.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Welcome changes are being made at casinos across the Hoosier state. 

Due to the executive order Wednesday from Governor Eric Holcomb, patrons can eat, drink and smoke while playing slot machines at casinos across the state.

Local casinos have released the following information.

Hollywood Casino:

  • Due to an executive order from Governor Holcomb, effective at 2PM on Wednesday, March 10th, patrons are allowed to eat, drink, and smoke while playing a slot machine.

Belterra Casino:

  • Smoking will only be permitted on the casino vessel while seated at a slot machine. Smoking is not permitted at table games, the landside gaming floor, or the FanDuel Sportsbook.
  • Eating & drinking is permitted only while seated at a slot machine AND actively eating or drinking. Eating & drinking is not permitted at table games.
  • Beverage service will remain limited to dining outlets, the Stage Bar on the first floor of the casino, and The Sideroom Cafe.

Rising Star Casino:

  • Offering smoking, drinking and eating in the casino.
  • Non-smoking areas include Level 4 and Table Games.

Mask wearing is still required at all area casinos, unless eating, drinking, or smoking at a slot machine.
