(St. Leon, Ind.) – For the second time in school history, East Central FFA competed at Nationals.
The team of Amelia Hartman, Maria Hartman, Bailey Grunkemeyer and Gage Crone competed at the 2018 National FFA Environmental Natural Resources CDE at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis on October 24-25.
The event was held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, where FFA members tested their knowledge and skills in problem solving and decision skills in environmental and natural resources, with a concentration in soil profiles, water quality, waste management and use of global positioning units.
East Central placed in the bronze emblem category.
Kayla Miles placed in the bronze emblem category as an individual in the 2018 National FFA Creed Speaking LDE. The event consists of delivering the FFA Creed form memory and responding to three questions.
