Four East Central HS students were elected as FCCLA State Officers for 2023-2024 School year.

(St. Leon, Ind.) – The East Central Middle and High School FCCLA had a very successful three days at the annual Indiana FCCLA State Leadership Conference.
Several students competed in FCCLA Star Events, which allow students to put their Academic and Family Consumer Sciences Skills into action.
All STAR Event competitors had to create a portfolio or display and give a 5-15 minute speech after they completed an event.
Between the middle and high school participants, East Central came away from the leadership conference with 39 national qualifiers and 16 national qualifier alternates.
Among the high school students, EC FCCLA took home 39 gold medals, 21 silver medals and one bronze medal.

Additionally, four East Central High School students were elected as FCCLA State Officers for the 2023-24 school year.

- Alexandra Seubert – Indiana Vice President of Development
- Maleighna Mondal – Vice President of District Coordination
- Jocelyn Inderhees – Vice President of National Program
Indiana FCCLA has over 5,000 members that are led by a team of 10 state officers.
East Central FCCLA is advised by Family and Consumer Sciences Teachers, Brenda Osman, Ashley McConnell, Josie Bonilla and Tammy Neltner.
