Jobless rates fell in all five southeastern Indiana counties in Eagle Country.

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Department of Workforce Development has released August employment data for local counties.
Ohio County had the best jobless rate in the area last month at two percent.
Unemployment rates in Dearborn, Franklin, and Ripley counties came in below the statewide average of 2.8 percent, followed by Switzerland County at three percent.
All five counties in the area had their jobless rate fall in August compared to July.
