(Harrison, Oh.) - The Dry Fork Bridge closure has been delayed one week, according to the City of Harrison.

Construction will now begin on Monday, July 13, instead of July 6.

While Dry Fork Road is closed, motorists will be detoured by way of West Road and Harrison Avenue.

Additionally, beginning Monday, July 20, the following ramps will close for approximately 45 days:

  • Eastbound I-74 exit ramp to Dry Fork Road
  • Eastbound I-74 exit ramp to Harrison/Dry Fork Road

Motorists are advised to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use posted detour routes as work progresses.

The Eagle Bridge Company was awarded a contract in the amount of $8.25 million to complete the project, and although the project will be substantially complete by the end of this year, all work is scheduled to be completed in late spring of 2027.
