Death Investigation Underway In Jennings County

A North Vernon man was found dead along State Road 3 on Thursday.

(Jennings County, Ind.) - A death investigation is underway in Jennings County.

According to Indiana State Police, a body was located along State Road 3 in northern Jennings County on Thursday.

The deceased male was identified as Joseph Gill, 27, of North Vernon.

Gill had been reported missing approximately two days prior.

The cause of Gill’s death has yet to be determined.

Anyone with information about the investigation should contact the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office.
