The replica Honor Roll Wall was unveiled on July 4 at Newtown Park

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The Dearborn County Historical Society has released the following statement regarding personal tributes placed at the World War II Honor Roll Memorial Display in Newtown Park:
"We kindly ask that any flowers, photographs, flags, mementos, or other personal tributes placed at the World War II Honor Roll Memorial Display in Newtown Park, Lawrenceburg, by family members, friends, or visitors be treated with the utmost respect and left undisturbed.
This memorial serves as a place of remembrance and reflection for the brave men and women who served our country, and for the loved ones who continue to honor their memory. We respectfully ask everyone to help preserve the dignity of this special place by allowing these tributes to remain where they have been placed.
If anything has been unintentionally removed from the memorial, we kindly ask that it be returned so it may continue to honor those for whom it was left.
For the protection of the memorial and its visitors, the area is under video surveillance.
Thank you for your understanding, your kindness, and for helping us preserve this sacred place of remembrance for future generations."
