Dearborn Co. Clerk: Indiana Voter Cards Coming In The Mail

State law requires the Indiana Election Division to manage a statewide voter list maintenance project in each odd numbered year.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Local Indiana residents should be on the lookout for voter cards.

Dearborn County Clerk of Courts Gayle Pennington tells Eagle Country 99.3 that two mailers will begin arriving in Hoosier mailboxes on May 17.

State law requires the Indiana Election Division to manage a statewide voter list maintenance project in each odd numbered year.

Card 1 will be sent to the mailing address of every active voter in Indiana via USPS non-forwardable mail. If your information on the card is correct, no response is needed.

If the card is returned undeliverable then Card 2 is sent to the voter.

Card 2 allows the person to return a postage paid response card to: confirm their residence address is their registration address; update their registration within the county; or cancel their registration if they have moved out of the county.

The maintenance project will help keep your voter registration active and accurate.
