(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The Dearborn County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that the Annual Business Breakfast presented by Friendship State Bank and Friendship Insurance will take place on April 30 at Perfect North Slopes.
This event promises to be a dynamic gathering of local business leaders, entrepreneurs and community stakeholders highlighting the spirit of innovation, leadership, and collaboration in our region.
The Annual Business Breakfast serves as a yearly kick-off event for the Dearborn County business community, offering a valuable platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and recognition of outstanding achievements. We are thrilled that Friendship State Bank and Friendship Insurance have helped make this event possible once again.
We are excited to announce that Garren Colvin, President and CEO of St. Elizabeth Healthcare will be 2026’s keynote speaker. Mr. Colvin will speak on the future of healthcare, the challenges of the current environment for rural hospitals and the changes St. Elizabeth is making to proactively address those issues. In 2025, St. Elizabeth Dearborn received a number of nationally recognized awards, including earning a 5-Star Rating, the highest given by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. This places the facility among the top 10% of hospitals nationwide for quality care. The Chamber is excited to host Mr. Colvin and hear more about the future of healthcare here in Dearborn County.
The 2026 Spring Breakfast program will also feature presentations from the 2025 DICE High School Challenge participants, who swept the podium at the regional DICE event! The DICE Challenge is a regional competition in which high school students develop a business plan and pitch their dream to a panel of seasoned entrepreneurs. We will be honoring those students and presenting them with their hard-earned awards.
The Annual Business Breakfast presented by Friendship State Bank and Friendship Insurance will take place on April 30th at Perfect North Slopes. Registration begins at 7:30am and breakfast will begin at 8am. Tickets are available for purchase through the Chamber's website (dearborncountychamber.org) or by contacting the Chamber directly at 812-537-0814.
