Three scholarships will be awarded to graduating students at EC, L'Burg, and SD.

(Dearborn County, Ind.) – Dearborn County CASA will award three scholarships of $1,250 this spring.
One graduation student from East Central, Lawrenceburg and South Dearborn will be chosen to receive the scholarship following the review of submitted essays.
Students are asked to write an essay on “why you choose to be drug free.” The essay should reflect the students’ perspectives on alcohol, vaping, tobacco, or other drugs.
The essay should be between 750 and 1,000 words.
Other requirements include:
- “C” or above GPA (transcripts are not required)
- Have no suspensions or expulsions due to substance-related issues
- Be accepted to a college or technical school
The application deadline is April 17.
