(Dearborn County, Ind.) - The April 23 litter clean-up in support of the Dearborn County Anti-Litter Initiative has been postponed. A new date will be determined by the Bright Fire Department, the organizers of the clean-up. Check for updates and announcements at the Dearborn County Anti-Litter Initiative Facebook page

The May 7 clean-up at Yorkridge Hill to Fox Road is scheduled from 9 a.m.-12 noon, and volunteers are needed. York Township Trustee Greggory Callahan is helping to organize for the third year in a row. Volunteers will meet at the York Ridge Hunting Club. Trash-pickers and bags will be provided.

Dearborn County Commissioners have approved road closures during clean-ups at the request of Celeste Calvitto, founder and chair of the Dearborn County Anti-Litter Initiative. “Thank you to the Dearborn County Sheriff's Office for keeping our volunteers safe and to the Dearborn County Highway Department for their assistance,” Calvitto said.

Updates and other clean-ups will be posted at Dearborn County Anti-Litter Initiative | Facebook. If interested in volunteering, please comment or send a message. This will help to make sure there are enough supplies for volunteers.
