One scramble participant will get to recommend a $2,500 grant to a charitable organization in Dearborn Co.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Dearborn Community Foundation’s 22nd Annual Golf Scramble fundraiser is slated for Monday, August 7, at Hidden Valley Golf Club. CIVISTA Charitable Foundation is the “Presenting Sponsor” for the event. Hidden Valley Lake POA/Hidden Valley Golf Club is donating the use of the golf course to the Foundation for the 22nd straight year.

In celebration of DCF’s 25th Anniversary, a lucky scramble participant will be randomly drawn to recommend a $2,500 grant to a charitable organization in Dearborn County. All net proceeds from the golf scramble support operations for the Foundation’s mission to create a permanent legacy through endowed grant and scholarship programs that forever give back to the Dearborn County community, said Fred McCarter, Executive Director of Dearborn Community Foundation, Inc. (DCF).

“We appreciate the continuing support of our presenting sponsor, CIVISTA Charitable Foundation and, of course, the incredible generosity of the HVL POA and Hidden Valley Golf Club for their longtime support of the Foundation,” McCarter said. “All sponsors and golfers who participate in the event are fine examples of philanthropists in our community.”
