Crash Turns Fatal Near Sinclair Gas Station in Greendale

The accident took place on Monday afternoon.

(Greendale, Ind.) - One person was killed and another was seriously injured in a two vehicle accident in Greendale on Monday afternoon. 

Greendale Police responded to the crash near Sinclair Gas Station around 4:01 p.m.

Christina Reese, 52, of Aurora, was entrapped in her vehicle and had to be removed by rescue personnel for transport to a designated landing zone for UC Air Care. Reese's condition deteriorated prior to the flight and she was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

A passenger in Reese's vehicle was transported from the scene with serious injuries. 

A 17-year-old that was operating the other vehicle was uninjured. 

The crash remains under investigation. 

Greendale Fire, Greendale Life Squad, Lawrenceburg Life Squad, Lawrenceburg Police, Lawrenceburg Fire, UC Air Care and Dis-Bec Towing assisted at the scene.
