Cooper HS Student Charged With Terroristic Threatening

Boone County Sheriff's deputies say the threat was made on Monday.

(Boone County, Ky.) – A Cooper High School student has been accused of making a threat towards another student.

The Boone County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a school shooting threat on Monday.

A female juvenile, 15, allegedly told another classmate, “you’re going to be on my list”. When the student asked, “what list”, the 15-year-old responded with “my list for when I shoot up the school”.  

Deputies promptly investigated the threat by interviewing the suspect. During the interview, she admitted to making the threat, but went on to say she was “joking”.

The juvenile was taken into custody and charged with Terroristic Threatening (Class D Felony).

She was transported to the Campbell County Juvenile Detention Center.
