Christmas Drive Raises Funds, Gathers Gifts For 100+ Local Children

The Twisted Wrench, Infamous Few, Crum Trucking and Wheelock Lake Campground came together this holiday season.

(Ripley County, Ind.) – It will be a very Merry Christmas for some less fortunate kids in Ripley County.

The Twisted Wrench teamed up with the Infamous Few for a Children’s Christmas Drive. Toys, clothes, and monetary donations were accepted to benefit children of Ripley County.

Local businessman Kevin Wang, the new owner of Wheelock Lake Campground, generously matched the donations and presented the group with a $3,000 check on Saturday.

The goal was to raise enough money and gather enough donations for 100 children. The group surpassed their goal, announcing they will give assistance to 110 children this Christmas.

Each kid in need will have approximately $60 spent on him or her, including $30 for clothes and $30 for toys.
