The project will take place between Florence and Patriot.

(Switzerland County, Ind.) - Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Paul H. Rohe Company is scheduled to begin a bridge deck replacement project on State Road 156 between Florence and Patriot on or after Wednesday, May 6.
Work will take place on S.R. 156 over Bryant Creek and is expected to be complete in October, weather permitting. During the project, S.R. 156 will be reduced to one 10-foot lane using temporary traffic signals.
This project is part of a $1.9 million contract awarded to Paul H. Rohe Company in July 2025.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.
