Bridge Deck Overlay Project To Begin On S.R. 129 In Switzerland Co.

This project is set to begin on Monday, June 15.

(Switzerland Co., Ind.) - INDOT has announced a bridge deck overlay project that is set to begin early next week.

On Monday, June 15, contractor RAM Construction Services will begin work on the bridge on S.R. 129 over Long Run in Switzerland County, just over 2 miles north of S.R. 56, north of Vevay.

The road will be reduced to one lane with temporary traffic signals during construction.

This project is expected to be completed by the end of July, weather dependent.

Motorists are reminded to slow down, watch for stopped traffic, and always drive distraction-free though work zones.
